   I do not see the license key for todays giveaway, Typing assistant, in any email and you must enter a license key within 20 days to register.

   You might have downloaded from the wrong link. Sounds to me you might have clicked on the link that took you to the software's company home page site. The link you needed would be a little further down titled "Download Typing Assistant 3.1 Now" It will bring you to wikisend.com where gaotd stores their give away files for downloading. You would know if you downloaded the right file for today because it is a zip file that will contain a readme.txt file along with a white key imprinted on a gold square setup.exe file. The txt will contain the info for registering.
   Not sure if the moderators allow this but here is the direct link to the download page for todays Type Assistant file.

   Make sure you uninstall the other one first before installing this one.

   Messenger, I did the right link and it installed properly and the read me file popped up with the user name and liscense number but it still keeps saying invalid. I'll uninstall & try your link.. thanks.

   Uninstalled, and reinstalled, still says "invalid user name or liscense key" grrrrrrr

   My set up.exe doesn't show a white key imprinted on a gold square. It's a blue arrow facing right in front of a tiny computer picture. Anyone got any ideas on this??

   I'm at lost because I had the old 3.0 version from here a few months back and had to uninstall the old one before installing the new one but because my registry still had the info of having the old one I didn't need to register this new one. I didn't have to go through what someone for the first time using this would to register it.

   I get the white key imprinted on a gold square icon with every gaotd file. It could be a Icon theme difference that I have seeing I'm using AlienWare OS theme. Do you get the blue arrow facing right in front of a tiny computer picture on most or all your gaotd downloads? If so then the theme difference would be the cause and I'll just have to make note for myself.
   I would say to see if maybe BuBBy could help before the time runs out. It's close to 3 hours left. Unless some one else has any ideas.

   My problems solved.. it's now registered. They replied to my email with the following:

   1)You are running other software with keyboard monitoring? if it is, exit it and try again.
   2)With a windows skin available? if it is, cancel it and try again.

   And, sure enough, I did have a program that's always in the background called Short Keys. I disabled that and then this worked and registered just fine! DUH

   Great, sure glad you found out the problem. That was probably the same reason I had to uninstall the older 3.0 version of this program before installing the newer version.
