I hope you all can help me. My daughter uses powerpoint to make presentations her church uses for worship service for her Sundy school class. She just started using Powerpoint. I know generally how to work with that program. But now she wants to be able to write words superimposed on video. I don't know of any software that will do that, but I've seen videos with the effect on them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  2. Hey Penneddragon,

You could try Windows Movie Maker. I comes on any Windows XP or Vista computer as part of the operating system. you can place text over the movie in this program. It may not do it the way your daughter wants it to but check it out.

penneddragon, another one that might help her is Photo Story 3 for Windows. It's a free download. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx

Thank you Jaddis and Copmom for your suggestions. I didn't know Movie Maker had that capability. I'll also follow-up on Photo Story 3.
