OK,OK, I know a lot of you are sick of the converters, but as a newbie, id like to know if GAOTD has ever given away such a program. I wish to convert DVD to one WMV file. I have used DVDFAB and it constantly crashes, Videora, its slow and decides when and when not to work. SUPER, seems to have an issue copying large VOB files, and the new APLUS Video Converter, recently given away, doesn't want to do it either. Im considering purchasing Aimersoft DVD, as it seems to be the best converter from the entire list, but before i do, i would just like to know if anyone has come across anything either on GAOTD or anywhere else that they have used to convert DVD to WMV without having to pull their hair out due to technical difficulties. A link would be appreciated.

I have just come across Wondershare DVD Ripper Platinum. It looks exactly the same as Aimersoft DVD and Daniusoft DVD Ripper. Are all these titles made by the same company, or is it such a good program that many companies are willing to put their name to it?

if its an unprotected DVD, and when you put it in your computer and see VOB files, maybe its going to work with the free version of
