OK.. I'll add mine to get us over 1000 (unless someone beats my post). I am 47 and will be 48 in a few months.

That puts us at 1008 divide by 21 = 48 average!!!

Now for a cup of Geritol! c[_]

  5. High five Boondoggle.....I was born in 53 too. I'll be 55 next month which makes me a Gemini (though I don't believe in that stuff).

Some days I feel like about 237.5 physically, mentally I'm still a teenager.

This games player is 58 years old right now and feeling every one of them after a morning of TB testing - our cows, not me! Born July 1949, so I will be 59 in a few short (too short) weeks.

I am 42 year old kid. I've spent 30 years going to school and playing video games.

Maybe that's why people tell me I look 30!

  11. We might have to open a wrinkly section.

I guess it would work out about the age of people being older than 20ish.

Free software and games legally, would attract mainly older, whereas warez illegal, would attract the younger type, those trying to 'take a walk on the wild side'.

Warez sites are usually full of pr0n also, so maybe that might be another reason.

Thanks Buckleysmom,I always thought that 53 was a pretty good year.nice to meet someone else from my part of the last century.
Lee,you don't always have to be young to "walk on the wide side";just ask my children, they think their dad is always doing something crazy and wild with those computers of his.I just try to do it in a little wiser way. A least I try to; after I'm just a teenager at heart.

I have been lurking in these forums for a while now and thoroughly enjoying all of you! This post seemed to be a good one to finally post to and quit my lurking ways.

I am 55 (as of last February)!

  16. Well, it looks like most people who are replying to this thread are older. The average age is about 50 so far. I guess it is time to throw a curve ball into the averages. I am 20 years old.

Welcome to the forums,I think this thread on age is bringing out a lot of members who have been in the backround and watching, thinking they were to old to join in.
Well over 50's gang rules, and so do the youngsters under 50.

By the way JackieBS rumor has it that GAOTD has issued a restraining order on you for lurking in the forums so long and will only drop it if you promise to take a more active role in our mindless chit chat endless bable.

Not the oldest, but one of them. I was 63 last November but feel like 163 today. Long hours in the fields planting will do that.
    Have a good one everyone!!

  23. At some point I might have to change my name to "OldandSlo2" althugh I'm feeling younger all the time the more I read these posts. BTW a friend said I should not have said I was mentally a teenager, but instead should have said I'm still a teenager at heart, so there you have it.

Welcome you "lurkers"....you know who you are. I have to say though I think it's really funny that a thread where you tell your age is what brings people out....go figure! But glad you're all here and hope you stay.

57 chronologically, early 20's in my head (was 19 til I turned 50) mid-70's in vigor and spice for life, mid 80's for eyesight (woke up w/detached retina, TGivingDay 05') and 101 in night-time bladder capacity!

  25. MrFishy....too funny! The bladder thing really sent me ROTFL!
