    Hi All!
I have found this great game site called Cybamart, they haven't been going for long but I have downloaded some great games and there is no spyware or viruses to worry about, they also have other software(tools, utilities etc) that are also free. You can also ask for a game or type of game you would like and they will try and get it for you. It's www.cybamart.com/games I have it book marked so I just have to click on it and there it is.I got Crazy Bird today which is also known as Bird On A Wire and a Sokaban and Boulderdash game recently as well. Hope you find this useful.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. that link from Oztazdevil worked fine for me.
BUT during download my Kaspersky firewall (still trainings-modus) asked firstly for permission for cybamart, started the download and then asked for permission for a Russian site. Too bad, that I in panic clicked NO before I memorised the link.
The download went on quite normal. Kaspersky did not find anything in it. But I did not start the program yet.

That link from Oztazdevil (cute name) also worked well for me.

A word of caution however. I use WOT/McAfee and had the download scanned before installing. Be careful as they have already ticked a toolbar box and the links to pages with red ratings from McAfee and WOT are installed along with the game . And like Gametop they also open to their homepage when you close the game (which is a different website anyway). If you can handle all of that, then proceed.

But I did not have a problem with the game itself or my computer or any strange error messages. So scan before installing, do not use any of the shortcuts supplied and download direct from cybamart. They have a green rating from WOT and McAfee. And remember to uncheck the box for the toolbar.

Other than those precautions there are some good games that are not available elsewhere.

  7. Hi there, this is Merril, owner of Cybamart.

First of all, very many thanks to Oztazdevil for the very kind mention of our site on here.

We were concerned to read that Graylox and RobM had concerns over the potential security of the developers for the games we offer - we would like to stress that ALL games are rigorously scanned before being offered on our site and are 100% clean from viruses, spyware, adware and malware - we will NEVER offer any game if we are in doubt whatsoever of the status and are proud to have a green rating for Cybamart from Firefox's WOT and McAfee's Site Advice.

Unfortunately, like with many of GAOTD's games, the condition of some of the games' developers for the games we offer is that they must link back to their own site either through shortcuts on the desktop which they have built into the installation or going to their website. Whilst we would prefer to not have this link back to any other site than our own (!), we are obligated to allow it - we emphasize that we thoroughly check the safety of all games and such links and, as above, there will never, ever be any even potential threat of malware, adware, spyware or viruses.

We have our own forum where we will always answer any technical or other questions about any aspect of our site and can be contacted at admin(at)cybamart.com

Once again, very many thanks to Oztazdevil and for all those who replied above regarding Cybamart - we genuinely appreciate it.

    Best wishes, Merril

*OzT, thanks for the link to Cybamart .. already see a couple games the ...ahem... grandkids will like (it is too for the grandkids .. mostly .. sorta).

*Merril, thank you for visiting the forum and offering an explanation. I'm sure other forum members appreciate your thoughtfulness as well. Your willingness to provide technical assistance, unbidden, is a good indication of integrity.

*HOSS: for posting a link, follow this syntax (spelled out to avoid creating a link)

1 Type the 'less than' symbol followed by 'a href' ; it should look like this: <a href

    2. Then type in the url enclosed in quotes; do not use any spaces:
    "http://www dot giveawayoftheday dot com"

    3. Type the 'greater than' symbol > , space a couple times and type the 'less than' symbol < . In between the two type in whatever you want to appear, like CLICK ME!, which should look like this, >CLICK ME!<

    4. Close it off with slash /a , then the Greater Than symbol > period; which should look like this /a> .

You can see it in action by going to your menu bar, clicking on VIEW, then SOURCE and seeing how the link to J. Marshall's HTML TEST BED looks.

  10. I have downloaded several games from Cybamart and they are safe games. What I do is allow them the first time to go through my firewall then the next time I disallow and the games still work. Merril has had some really good games on her site to fill the need of free games. It's a shame I just really don't have the time right now to be any where in any forum and be consistent. I hate it when my real life interferes with my cyber life.

Merril, thank you for introducing yourself. The answers are very much appreciated.

I wish to emphasise that I did not have any problems per se with downloading and installing I just wanted to flag some of the occurrences to other members so they can be informed. I have also registered as a member because for me there are some great games which can fill the void/absence of Game Giveaway only being on weekends.

PS. Todays game looks great, Sonic Robo Blast 2 at 70MB, so wont be another flash game. Cant wait to download.

hi guys- i've been checking out cybamart, and it seems like a great site. i just wanted to come and mention that they are launching a new forum, and that there are some giveaways for the first 100 people to sign up (as of this posting there are only 54). i have already noticed a couple of familiar names. theyy are also giving away more "stuff" (the "prizes" seem to be e-books and maybe some software, i haven't quite figured it out) to those who refer people who join and participate in the forum. i tried to search and see if anyone had posted this info before, but didn't find anything.

    :D
    ---------------
    edit...
oztazdevil- thanks for pointing me in that direction, i've given you credit for referring me, over at the cybamart forum. :D

Thanks for flagging this funkymom, I am hoping that more people will visit this site in the absence of daily game giveaways. You probably would have seen that I am also a member and yes the prizes are e-books and software (I received my prize today). They also have a great selection of freeware covering most topics.

Tommy1, I am sorry to hear about Simpsons Jeopardy. I will download it and see how it goes on my system (what browser are you using?). I have successfully downloaded Sonic Robo Blast 2, Cleaners Scrape and Galaxy Strike. I will let you know how I go with Simpsons Jeopardy.

Tommy1 also no luck installing Simpsons Jeopardy (although it did download). I left a note in the comments sections (but should have posted in the technical forum in hindsight). I dont want to double post so will wait, Merril is pretty quick at responding and I will email her if I don't hear back in due course.

I'm sorry delenn13, you were definitely first. Maybe it was the heading of Pool Games ? which didn't appeal to me. I will credit you when I next post/write at Cybamart. My apologies.

Hey, thanks also for the background information which I did not know about. I hope that you are well.

  20. It's Ok. I was trying to straddle the fence with out spamming. I did another link somewhere but with this search engine here ......I can't find it. Merril is a nurse in RL.

I am better since the doc changed my meds but I do know what a "Space Cadet" really feels like now. I now have to really watch what I post. :)

Edit: Forgot to say. Mr. B changed my link to the actual game link(gametop). It was directed to cybamart in the original post.

Have a fabulous summer. Enjoy the sun and fresh air.

You are most welcome. Thanks for introducing me to a site with some great games. And the delightful Merril who has taught me how to host photos and add captions amongst many other things, what a lovely lady.

Look after yourself over the Summer Break.
