Okay, granted I've only been a member for a few minutes but all the software I've seen offered has been for windows. Is this true? I hope not because I love games!

Yes, all of the software offered here runs on Windows.
There was talk of a mac giveaway section, but it seems that what software there is, there was insufficient interest from the developers to make it worthwhile.
The GOTD team was keen to give it a shot. The Mac development community was not.
