Johnny Appleseed here, just dropping by to gently place a seed on the ground.

XOBNI claims to expedite the process of searching Outlook email archives.

This would have come in handy on my last job. I often had to wade though emails from several different customers to reference technical details and problems. It was especially difficult when I had more than one contact from each company sending questions and comments on the same issue.

Now I'm using Firefox, at home. I do have Outlook installed on my PC and will probably download this gem...just in case. Thanks, Mr. Appleseed!

Sounds interesting, but after spending 2 days trying to eliminate all the misc. 'stuff' from my machine, now I'm getting a bit paranoid about adding new functions.
What I've done is made several sub-directories in my email folders and have message rules telling which emails to go where.. that's been a big help to me.

  4. Thanks RM. You wouldn't happen to know if this also works with Outlook Express would you? We used Outlook for a while but we both lik eExpress better so we switched back to that. I've done like you Copmom, I made folders and set up rules for sorting which does help but still if I don't keep on top of my inbox it gets way out of control (as it is at present - ugh).

RM....I've wondered several times about this.....why do people call you Appleseed? Just curious.
