TotalPrivacy5 NOT actually cleaning . . .

I've been using recent GAOTD Pointstone's TP5 in conjunction w/CCleaner. Despite having TP5 set to clean my leftover anti-virus logs, update, etc. files, it appears TP5 ISN'T purging these (wash set-up/custom)
My CCleaner always shows these files are still present AFTER TP5 cleaning?
It appears these are the only files TP5 is missing.

Anyone else out there seeing this pattern? Thanks.

  2. Thank you for the reminder about my issues with TP5. It indeed appears to have security flaws. It supposedly overwrites using 7-pass in just a few seconds. This I doubt but, I will have to exit CCleaner and create files to TP5 clean, then use Recuva to recover them. When not using CCleaner my PC slows down considerably over several shutdowns even though TP5 is set to run at shut down. Running CCleaner following startup cleared that issue immediately. Since I have chosen to post a response, I shall have to stop what I was doing and run the tests. This will take a bit of time for re-configuration first.

  3. OK, part of my problem may have been a faulty assumption on my part. Since TP5 was not launched to tray at startup it may not have been able to self-launch at shutdown. However, following a reset and restart, with TP5 launched to tray, Recuva located thousands of files. Then running CCleaner, detection and removal occurred for many of them but, left many more. Running Revuva's own secure delete at the last removed yet another 1368 files containing 7MB of data left behind by both CCleaner and TP5. (V-O-I-D aka w2wWebfly)

Hmm . . . It doesn't appear either of these apps is actually doing what they report they are doing?

Me, I just was hoping to get TP5 to clean the few files it's now missing, per CCleaner analyze, so I could stop having to sweep twice w/two apps to get the 0MB's I expect after an actual cleaning.
I mean, TP5 has a spot to configure for the removal of the AVG logs, etc. but it just doesn't seem to be doing so?
    That is my real concern/question.
