I was wondering where The Bladed Thoth had got to. I've seen several comments wondering the same thing so I thought I'd investigate. He's been consistently brilliant at reviewing giveaways for over a year now and not to see that familiar avatar at the top of evey days giveaway was actually quite strange.
I checked back to see when he last posted and found it was back over a month ago on the 14th March (ACA color picker) Anyway, I went over to his site and saw a news item about why he had stopped posting. Basically life in general. He spent two hours every morning writing the reviews. I can empathize with him regarding the time and effort it takes to write a review and looking back at the Thoths reviews there has obviously been a massive effort put in to test and then to write up each and every software title tha has been given away over the past year and a bit.
Anyway, he's had a recent addition to his family, and felt it was time he gave the reviews a rest for a while. He has said that it's not the end, but for the time being he cannot justify the time spent when family matters need to be addressed (or words to that effect).
I'd like to take this oppertunity in saying a big thank you to The Bladed Thoth for his unremitting and incisive reviews over the past year. They have in part been responsible for me either downloading or not quite a few software applications. Thank you very much man.
