Hi,

I don't know 'where' to send you guys a personal thank you note,

But I really want to express my appreciation for your wonderful contribution by me to 'fall in love' with this wonderful forum (+ site of course :P)

Thank you to :

Whiterabbit for your detailed and helpful reviews for daily game.

Bubby for helping to solve 'problems' asap we have.

And BladdedThoth (did I spell correctly?) for his reviews for daily software.

I also want to say thanks to alot of others like maizeydaze and others that share lovely links for Scrapbookings and jokes etc.

Jul, you're welcome. I enjoy being here as much as you. I've gotten more useful information from these forums than I ever could have on my own. There is definitely a great group of people here. And that includes you!

Hi maize,

I am also a member of my scrapbooking forum 'SBM' this is the best forum I seen(compare with other scrapbooking resources)as the members and designers always give out their design kit(not just per month), the members are super helpful (like here). Not all time they give out kits in our SBM format. Some in png so most image editors should have no prob. using it. Like PSP, PS or PSE etc. If you really int. in Scrapbooking stuff. Check out sometimes. Take care. :)

Thanks Jul, that was really nice of you. I don't know of any other forum where you can get such a wealth of stuff to keep oneself entertained as well as strike up a forum conversation. I visit most days (though since the game giveaway stopped I don't visit every day now) and always find somethig useful or funny to read. :)

My Hotmail side doesn't bother me at all! I only use it for Oleg, he is the one I get contacted by most. I didn't use it once for 3 months(don't know if they still do it)and I had to sign up again for lack of use!

I luv you all so much ..... let keep this site 'warm and hot' so that developer will continue to 'pour' $$$ , games and sw to this site and also benefit 'us' :P. I am sure GOTD is struggling sometimes (but don't make into 'habit' LOL). This site always have fabulous ppl like copmom, maize, rabbit, suki and BB etc................

I Have a few 10" chef knives I can lend you, nice and sharp!

I use 2 in my right hand just to mince parsley, not that I'm comparing Robert to the green stuff!!!!!!

Will probably go up on Tuesday, come back, I don't know, maybe a week, depends on the weather? Sure nice to get away from the noise and bright lights of a restaurant kitchen!

Yeah, I was wondering where The Bladed Thoth was. He's been consistently brilliant at reviewing giveaways for over ayera. I checked back to see when he last posted and found it was back over a month ago on the 14th Mach (ACA color picker) Anyway, I went over to his site and saw a news item about why he had stopped posting. Basically life in general. He spent two hours every morning writing the reviews. I can empathise with him regarding the time and effort it takes to write a review and looking back at the Thoths reviews there has obviously been a massive effort put in to test and then to write up each software.

Anyway, he had a recent addition to his family, and fet it was time he gave the reviews a rest for a while. He has said that it's not the end, but for the time being he cannot justify the time spent when family matters need to be addressed (or words to that effect).

I'd like to take this oppertunity in saying a big thank you to The Bladed Thoth for his unremitting and incisive reviews over the past year. Thnk you man.

I'll post a seperate thread so that everyone knows the reason as I'm sure loads of people have wondered wat has happened to him.

Robert....Oh my gosh! I haven't heard that song in years.....well at least nowhere but in my head. What memories! My sister and I used to "sing" it to my mom till she'd tell us to knock it off.

Everyone....I'd like to ditto the various comments about all the cool, helpful people here at the GOTD forums. I'v joined several forums over the years and this one is just different from all the rest. People here are so helpful and genuinely caring. I try to help when I can but I'm not as "technical" as a lot of folks here (spent too many years locked in a closet crunching numbers). Also, it's nice to be able to chat without a lot of cursing and swearing. I've dumped some forums just because the language got so bad. Sooooo, thank you, thank you, thank you......from the bottom of my pea picken heart! Love you guys!

Hey gang!

I'm still around. As Whiterabbit-ul pointed out, I did make a post on my site as to why I was halting the reviews for time being. Life is just way too hectic right now to handle so many projects. With the issues with WidgetBucks, it kinda was the last nail in the coffin, so-to-speak. There was big plans for my reviews (New site/cleaner design/more titles reviewed), but as time went on, I realized I just didn't have the time for such projects either.

I thank you all for your comments posted here. I do hope that I can find time and a way to bring the reviews back. For now however, it's time for a break. I am very appreciative of all the wonderful comments here. Jul, Whiterabbit, LeKenaw, sukibabe, and ALL the other people who frequented my reviews -- I thank you very much for being my loyal readers, even through some half-awake reviews. I do hope I can rekindle this in the future for all of those who enjoyed my reviews.

Hi LeKanaw. It's a pay as you review scheme. The problem stems from some links being attached to trojans and other nasties. I think BT had written to them and they had not deigned to reply, so he decided to axe the pay as you review scheme.

I also would like to extend my thanks to all you wonderful people that keep me coming back. I download software, but I can't stand the comments although I must confess that sometimes they make me laugh.

I am glad BladedThoth is ok and I think you guys are the best people I have found in any other forum, funny, helpful, a bit crazy (I confess I am too) and just warm.
Ah, and don't forget I am the one with the Ax!
