These were on the inside back cover of almost all issues of Mad Magazine. I hated to do them because then my magazine would have those two long folds in it.....and I try to never do anything to mess up my books or mags. So I would just go to the grocery store, and there would always be several copies that other people had already folded. I used to try to figure out what the picture would turn into without folding it.

Speaking of Mad, I once sent them a take-off on "Kojak" that I had written, hoping they would publish it. They sent me a nice rejection notice, stating that they already had a Kojak take-off in the works. A few months later when I saw it, I was really disappointed, as mine was much funnier than theirs. Oh well, what did I know? I was a Mad Magazine reader, so I couldn't have possibly known what I was doing. I still don't. -Dan

as a way to visualize two-space ships.

  19. For the record, drunk or sober, Johnny Appleseed has proudly voted the What, Me Worry? ticket since 1968. Did someone say they had a big collection of Mad Mags?

BTW, Alfred's face was found here along with a few other mazes.

Think you're big enough to push a cursor around? Then, this musical maze should be right up your headset.

If you enjoyed that maze, try this belated Valentine's version.

This gamesite hasn't been mentioned before. Offers two mazes plus others.

What, you're still here?? Okay, you asked for it. This is the mother of all EVIL mazes. Believe it or not, somebody found a solution that only took 2 minutes.

Now it's time for Do-it-yourself Mazes.

This isn't a maze game nor does it have anything to do with Crop Circles. It does, however, confirm that drugs dealers don't have a good sense of direction.

Funky, didn't mean to hijack the thread. One maze just lead to another. Mea culpa.

Thanks Rune.. the 'evil' one doesn't do anything except a message about not hot linking?

  22. Sorry 'bout that, copmom. Missed that block since it was already in my temp file cache, but certainly understand why he's done it... the full size version is over a mb in size! Here's a half-size version (entrance is in the upper left corner)

Here be EVIL. Hmmm, wonder how many of you will be able to download it before my account is overdrawn? :-)

  24. I love mazes when I know, the goal is worth many loopways.
Like an old sage ( Lao-tse ?) phrased it :
Only he who knows his destination will find the way.

Wow.. that maze IS really evil! I did manage to d/l it, and then had to enlarge, etc. Are we supposed to print these out to do them? I had to enlarge by 150% to see it.. then couldn't scroll down the screen because I lost my place! Errrrrrrr

Since this IS a game site, how about a nice 3D Maze game? The cool thing about this one is that if you want to increase or decrease the number of walls in the maze, all you do is increase or decrease the window size. It's a very handy way to do it, and one I have never seen before. -Dan

sensible way is to crop it in 4 pages- with overlap where they meet, then print and paste or tape. scale it up about 3 to 1 though, first.
