I've never experienced such slowness and problems with downloads before. WikiSend just dribbles the files to me and when I finally get them they are corrupt. The mirror site is also WikiSend so the mirror is virtually useless too.
I's a shame I missed today's offering, perhaps one of the techno bods can sort out this problem. Thanks for your efforts, they are well appreciated :-)
I have been downloading these freebies from Wikisend for over a month, and I have never had a problem with slowness, or corrupted files.
Really... Posting this 30 minutes after the giveaway has finished - doesn't leave much room for help, unfortunately.
May I suggest you try start downloading a lot earlier? If the site is busy or downloads are running slow - you could try leaving the download for 30 minutes and trying again.
one corrupted (truncated) file since change, transfer rate in normal bounds depending on internal LAN traffic. west coast usa, nominal.
I am 2:00 am CST in the US, when the giveaway comes up, my alarm clock!
I download the Zip files, then wait for comments. Some stay and I open them, the others get deleted!
Just a good way for me to go, then I don't miss out!
Wikisend is not the fastest, even with a 5MB download speed, but allot faster than most!

I never had problems with slow downloads or corrupted files, my possible problems starts usually on my site of the cable.
Maybe you too should check your connection or your download routine, or only be patient and try again. :)
so far so good do you get the full size do you have HIPS if so turn off for dowm load,like info AV spyware scaner firewall so on may stop you.
