Search GT was the GATD on march 1st.
I found its concept really nice, but the application a little too buggy. I checked the editor website (http://www.search-gt.com/) and saw a new version.
As 2.2 was too buggy, I tried the upgrade to 2.3.
1/ it works much better ;
2/ and last but not least, it is still registered to giveawayoftheday.
Try the upgrade at your own risk as there is no official information about it.
I hope they offer it again, somehow I botched the activation (first time). Didn’t notice until the next day - So for me it’s already gone…

Same problem over here.SearchGT is no longer installed,I removed it last week :(
But they seem to have *fixed* two important issues in the new version:
-double-clicking opens file with incorrect program(was a major problem)
-crashes of explorer (very rare but it did happen)

Robert, I think registration datas aren't erased as you uninstall this software.
If it was once registered, this version should be registered to.

And SearchGT is fast as lightning!!
Makes you wonder why some people still prefer the MS Search tool.
But do be careful with system restore and programs that re-index files...
(some AV and uninstallers do)
