   Back in the early 90s I used to play a PC game called NUCLEON. Unfortunately, it will not work on a present-day PC. Does anyone remember that game, and if so, do you know of ANY games that are either clones or similar to Nucleon? -Dan

   have you ever tried/used DOSBox? (wikipedia page)

   i haven't used it myself, but it is recommended on a lot of the gaming sites i've come across.

   Suki.....That is EXACTLY the game. My copy of it is sitting in a storage unit in NC, while I am currently living in AZ. I could not run it in Windows XP, so I just assumed I cannot run it in Vista. And I am not sure that I want to pay 9.95 for a game without knowing if it will indeed run on my PC. I suppose I could write and ask, but I find that I sometimes get whatever answer they think will sell the item, as opposed to the correct answer.

   Coincidentally, the company providing the game is FLAT ROCK SOFTWARE, and my copy is currently sitting in Flat Rock, NC.

   FunkyMom.....Since I do not have the game with me, DosBox wouldn't help me.....but thank you for the suggestion.

   Roflgo....... looks old, but entertaining, wish they had a trial download!

   Well at least I hit the Nail on the head!

   I Googled it under Nucleon pc game, your post from giveaway was listed first, then at the bottom was this site, which took me to a page that had it bundled with 3 other games. Then I scrolled down and saw they listed the games separate.

   I thought it might be the one. I see your concern, as I like to try before I buy, especially with todays systems! I run Windows XP Media Center. My main computer is a Dell, which was made specifically for gaming! It has an 80 gig hard drive right now, but have another 320 gig internal ready to go in! Lol, my son said "Mom, you will never fill it up!"..... I said "Remember what you said about the 80 gig you specked out for me", answer, yes, last time I was over you had nearly maxed it out!!!!!!!!!

   My husband(who is 12 years older and just retired in 2007) said what am I going to do with all those games!!!!!!! LMAO, I said "Who is going to outlive Who"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

   Glad that is the game!
