   I am new to the amazing GOTD website - having only just discovered it after reading a review in a popular computer magazine. Like so many others new to the GOTD website, I have missed out so many excellent free software offers that I would have been keen to download if I had only known about them before. Would it be possible, therefore, to have a kind of Open Day where either all, or a selection of previously offered software, could be made available once again for those of us unfortunate enough to have missed out on downloading such software the first time around - by the sheer fact that we were unaware of the GOTD website at the time, Thanks,

   Sorry but that's not the way it works. The programs belong to the companies that are kind enough to offer them to us for free on that day only. The programs them selves aren't stored here for future downloads or if your system crashes & you lose your software. It would be nice if they did, but then everone would just keep coming here to download the programs instead of buying them from the owners of the software. They let us have free for the day so we can try it out and give our feed back as to what we think of it. In exchange we get to keep the programs, but with no back-up, updates or support other than the day it is offered & sometimes not even then. Sorry, but welcome to the site!
   Hang around, there is new software offered every day & new games every weekend. They do run repeats once in awhile especially if the program has been updated & the author wants to get feed back about the changes. So be patient & enjoy the downloads!!!
