   I know this sites name is GIVE AWAY... but I'd like to donate a little every now and again... I get so many good programs, that donating is not above me.

   ( and I wonder if that would make really special giveaways possible.. like anti virus and such expensive stuff)

   Now, perhaps you guys don't want no money... ( which would be completely ununderstandable to me... ) but I believe a paypal donate button would do no harm...

   Anyone else ever thought they could donate a little to this wonderful site that works so hard for us?

   Slippery slope - next it would be a "subscribers only" site.

   You could always pay the developers for the programs you keep and state you got them from here.

   The PTB have already said GOTD will never be a subscribers only site - no need to fear that scenario.

   as far as I know a paypal donate button does not mean one HAS to pay up... or that it suddenly becomes a subscribers only thing...

   but hey, free is good too.

    Not to get off track or anything but those Beatles vids really bring back the memories. They're doing all Beatles music on this season's American Idol and I've been enjoying some of the songs. But boy, I don't remember then having such skinny legs, they're like stick figures with clothes.

    i could start a whole beatles thread. for my daughter's 3rd birthday party she wanted a beatles party. there are no licensed beatles party products, so i had to make all my own decorations, etc. it was fun.

    did i mention that i live with the beatles? they have been my daughter's imaginary friends for at least the past year and a half. everywhere we go the beatles come too! (she also likes to pretend that jim morrison is the 5th beatle)

    freebird- all joking aside ( your well-meaning thread has officially been hijacked), i don't think it's a bad idea at all to have a paypal donate button. i occasionally have a few bucks in my account that i might be willing to donate......if it would help.
