Hey, Bubby! I'm thinking that Bugatti needs a 4x4 version for country-dwellers :)

Here are s'more spectacular cars for your viewing pleasure: World's Strangest Cars IV, and be sure to visit parts I-III.

In the meantime, I have to get a Bubble Boat. Wonder if there is a model equipped with a trolling motor? hmm

Maizey, that link to Giovanni Sollima was perfect. What beautiful music! Perfect timing, too .. I have been listening to YoYo Ma's 'Meditation from Thais.'

    I like it as art.
The message it tells demonstrates the scale of "the problem" in a visual form that anyone should be able to appreciate. It's "just one plastic cup" or "just one sheet of paper" demonstrates how a little problem can grow when everyone "contributes".

You're all making me look and think! Cars, boats, car-boats, performance art, trash art... What's next? This world is certainly a fascinating place, both good and bad.

Bubby, I think Chris Jordan's artwork quantifies these problems and issues but do you really think it can make any significant difference? I have doubts. Maybe I'm just a pessimist when it comes to this type of thing. Sorry.

maybe on the large scale it can't do much. but, it makes people think about using that 'one paper cup' or 'one plastic bag', and on a (much)smaller scale that one cup or bag not being used matters a little.

(i'm tired and not feeling well, so i hope you get my drift)

Looks to me like he's recycling with his art. But it does give a different perspective on just how many things are used! Wonder how he got that toothpick one?

Maizey, what's next? Well, how about a step backwards, to television the way it was meant to be: live, no cue cards, no teleprompters and no second takes: Argument to Beethoven's 5th by Sid Caeser and Nanette Fabray on 'Your Show of Shows.'

Bobby, that was fantastic! I don't believe I've ever had an argument that lasted that long. I'm not very competitive. Hey, maybe that's why no one wanted to choose me to be on their team for kickball! :)

Since most politicians are the same, I've decided to go out on a limb and vote for someone more in tune with the everyday human situation. Here is my candidate:

  23. We saw stuff like that Kudzu growing along the roads in Virginia. That looks like wicked stuff. You'd think they'd kill it off before it takes over.
