   I found this online bitmap to vector converter a few months back, called Vector Magic. They are working on a desktop version.

   From the site:
   It converts bitmap images to vector images with a few simple clicks. Just upload your image and we will guide you through the tracing of it. Vector art is useful because it allows you to scale an image without making it blurry or pixelated.    Muriel - I forgot to add that I've tried this & it works really well. People on some graphics & photography forums said it works better than Corel and Adobe.
