Ok ladies. I thought you might like to see some skin! Don't say I never gave you anything. The person showing the skin was my uncle. He is no longer with us, but he left a legacy I am sure you will not forget! -Dan

wow, dan- is ed flanders really your uncle?

yes, i've been caught. that is me sitting off to the side of the bed, and talking about the water. i wish i wasn't there, but what am i gonna do?

at first she didn't know that she was being filmed, you can see the moment when she notices the camera and almost hides. that's my favorite part, the moment when she holds it together to finish the song.

i think my brother recorder her singing more, but he hasn't edited the videos yet.

thanks for all the compliments on my 'little beatle'.

Well, bluhoteyes, I AM single in the legal sense of the word.
    _____________________________________________________________

Funkymom, Ed Flanders was indeed my uncle. As I am sure you know, he committed suicide in the 1990s. He was married to my Mom's sister when I was a youngster. So he is not blood related, but all my aunts and uncles are still my aunts and uncles, no matter which of the pair is blood related.

I figured that was you on the bed. I will have to go look again, as actually seeing someone from these threads is a real treat! Maybe I will poat a link to a pic of me sometime......but don't count on it.

I made a comment on the YouTube video.....just for you!

By the way, here is a little piece of trivia that is not widely known:

Ed Flanders was the first actor on American television to bare his butt in a scripted television program.

St. Elsewhere ranks right up there in my Top 10 all time favorite series. The episode that still resonates with me was "Graveyard". Glad I kept a VCR capture of the original version. Just watched it on HULU and discovered that the broadcasting mavens have ruined the moving (i.e., schmaltzy) scene between Drs. Samuels and Paxton near the end. For whatever reason (music producer lawsuit, maybe?) the morons replaced the original Unchained Melody vocal score (playing on the custodian's radio as he walked past the couple) with some crappy generic instrumental.

    Cute little urchin, Funky.

    LADIES PLEASE NOTE:

Since my blood aunt was married to Ed Flanders, and therefore he is not blood related to me, rest assured that I did NOT inherit his butt.

  12. Creamy......hopefully by the time Funky's little darlin is old enough for American Idol Paula will no longer be a judge. She's so bad at it anyway. Ever notice how many times she uses Randy and Simons words? She is such a ditz......she should be blonde.

Ya know.....as you travel the internet highway, sometimes you see thngs you just wish you had never seen. :P

  15. PREGNANCY Q & A

    Q: Should I have a baby after 35?
A: No, 35 children is enough.

Q : I'm two months pregnant now. When will my baby move?
A: With any luck, right after he finishes college.

Q : What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex?
    A: Childbirth.

Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational.
    A: So what's your question?

Q : My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right?
A: Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air current.

Q: When is the best time to get an epidural?
A: Right after you find out you're pregnant.

Q : Is there any reason I have to be in the delivery room while my wife is in labor?
A: Not unless the word "alimony" means anything to you.

Q: Is there anything I should avoid while recovering from childbirth?
    A: Yes, pregnancy.

Q : Do I have to have a baby shower?
A: Not if you change the baby's diaper very quickly.

Q : Our baby was born last week. When will my wife begin to feel and act normal again?
A: When the kids are in college.

    Men and Women

    - A man will pay $2.00 for a $1.00 item he needs.

    - A woman will pay $1.00 for a $2.00 item that she does not need.

    - A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.

    - A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

    - A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.

    - A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

    - To be happy with a man, you must love him a little and understand him a lot.

    - To be happy with a woman you must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.

    - Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed.

    - Women somehow deteriorate overnight.

    - A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.

    - A man marries a woman expecting she won't change, but she does.

    - Married men live longer than single men, but married men are more willing to die.

    - Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing.

    - A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument

Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business.

When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his fortune.

One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Her natural beauty took his breath away. “I may look like just an ordinary man,” he said to her, “but in just a few years, my father will die, and I’ll inherit 20 million dollars.”

Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later, she became his stepmother.

Women are so much better at estate planning than men.
