I'll make a note and leave ufo as well enough alone.

when I find out, I make a note and change my naming.

re that last- it's a shrub. imagine a tree that grew that way.

Imagine a line(wo)man turning around in the bucket and finding a biiig one.

    or not.

    actually, I don't think it's sanguineum now I look.

Check this out! It's the What is it? blog! This guy collects unusual objects and posts pictures of them on his blog as puzzles for people to figure out what they are. He has some really interesting things. There are plenty of pics in his archives, as he's been doing this since 2004.

I remember when we were kids, we'd make decorative boxes out of picture post cards put together with needle and knitting yarn. That was the 9-14 age group back then.

Age is not a particularly interesting subject. Anyone can get old. All you have to do is live long enough. - Groucho Marx

an Unidentified Flowering Object, of course. just open in these pix.

the pink is in the front yard, the purple by the driveway. by the leaves, same plant. itty bitty blossoms, the leaves can get huge.

yep, the Blue-Eyed Bumble. Terri says he stole her heart, so- Bandit.

but once he grew a bit...

Nickname I hung on him from that dollmation pic where the elf wants to be a dentist. Bumbles Bounce, and all that.

scale pictures here and here and, noting this is the image the camera took, honest- cropped, resized smaller, but no processing- there's this nice shot.

I named that one Survey of Drain.

Looked better before he shook his ear delaminated.

ack.. err, not a tree skirt, but it was intended to evoke winter, so it's got it. hot-screen process wax with glitter added.

I made paper rosettes then dipped and sprinkled. I used fake leaves and different color wax for something like this one year. messier. dip plastic, stick to box, wait...

here's a somber composition called foggy dawn, a burr for you.. and a shot of another euphorbia I didn't recognize at the time.
