Graylox, very close. Close enough! It's goulash.

This prize for Lady Gray is Magic Marbles 2! Another game by the same young lad who made Untangle 1.2

I have to make this post in order for the previous post to show up. It does this sometimes when going to a new page. There must be a bug in Word Press.

Graylox, Is that name good or bad? You are getting so good at this guessing game that I thought you deserved a title of some kind. :)

We had gnocchi a couple of weeks ago. It is good! I did not make it from scratch but frozen with my husbands own homemade sauce. Yummy!

  7. The name is marvelous !
Like our gnocchis out of the freezer, but the sauce is homemade.

I'm still trying to find all my old favorites, with all my nature photo-links. Only found a floppy with an other part of my old links, but the photo themes are on a different cd or floppy, can't find them - such a sh*t. After a new installation of IE, all favorites are deleted, I didn't notice it before, because I never use IE any more.

nope, old when I moved in.

dunno what the pic is supposed to be at that link, I get a little 'hosted by tripod' logo and a blank screen.

back to falling back, formatting/testing yet smaller hdd's for terri's computer. if I get more than one I'm gonna mirror that system on every one. grr.

funny, earlier I spotted an adapter to plug an xD card into a smartmedia slot, and one to put a smartmedia card in a 3.5" floppy. strange.

  13. BTW Maizey....I can't believe that one was a bandaid. I usually have one somewhere on me at all times, especially in winter when my fingers crack open. And get this....I have one on now and had it earlier when I was trying to guess your picture. I do mostly use the stretchy fabric ones because they stay on longer and I can even get them a little wet and not have them come off, but I use the ones like yours as well.

graylox, I had something like that happen to me awhile back.. except the message I got was 'slow down' you're going too fast, or something. That's around the time my post came through twice.
That picture looks like a brass knuckle!

nope, it's not the wheel in the electric meter box that spins.

another target to let you forget. and then use.

no brass in that picture. aluminum. where did I put my brass knucks? I'll have to check the safe...

I'll be back at intervals, reinstalling win2k. aargh.

used to be, outside warehouses, trucking terminals and the like.

I'll give you one more guess and stop teasing. Frankly, probably few recall these any more. so it's not fair. usually associated with green and white enamel, fwiw.

The indicator to tell a driver whether it's ok to back a truck into a dock or not?

    nope. more general.

it's a long-neck large-envelope industrial area lighting bulb, real vacuum inside. the weather hoods over the fixtures were usually green outside, white reflective inside. you seen 'em?

Oh goody, that's the reflector bulb I was thinking of. That is what we called them at the light bulb factory. I've made these. What brand is it? The disc is called a reflector disc. They get really hot!

not a clue of the make, the markngs on the glass are gone, I'll see if I can find any other maker's marks. I thought you meant floodlamp type.
