  6. There are at least two work arounds in the comments

Works with Vista Home Premium - you only have to change your Desktop theme from Vista to Windows Classic. Right-click on your desktop and choose ‘Personalize…’

I found that if you drop down to 16 bit from 32, it will work. Give it a try.

This may be the answer to your problem, took this from the comments page,a reply from BuBBy( the administrator).

"Just to mention to the people pointing out that the software isn’t working under Vista - note in the product system requirements:

System Requirements: Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server (The developers site mentions Vista. Was it excluded here for a reason?)

Clearly the software isn’t yet 100% compatible with Vista. This is not a “problem” (or a bug) the software is obviously still being written. with the software (just going by the current System Requirements), and obviously the current incompatibility is known by the developers, if they are still referring to “improvements” for Vista in release notes etc.

Quite possibly an entirely separate version for Vista may need to be written, possibly due to Vistas different interface and graphics model. At any point at the least the software does appear to still need some work for use on Vista.

Finally perhaps the comment in the release notes is holding out for some “empty hope”.
“Improved the compatibility with Windows Vista” - doesn’t mean much at all. It is only saying it’s better now than what it was. It still might be nowhere near working… but knowing that “it’s coming” might “spur on a few extra sales” in the hope it will work “soon”. (gosh I’m a cynic)."

Edit, sorry BuBBy did not mean to step on your toes,Did not see your last post.
