are you logging in first?
the game shows the same start screen, but for me I logged in, then used the aimersoft link: http://nonoba.com/chris/untangle/?ref=untangleTracking and it jumps to the last level played when I tell it to go.
going there from the nonoba page leaves off the /?ref=untangleTracking, maybe that's the problem.

It doesn't matter if I go in through the Aimerasoft link or the nonoba page (logged in or not), I always get the "You Won" screen where I ended the game. Are any of the dots at the top of the screen filled-in or are they all unfilled? If there are some filled-in, you can click on the last one to pick-up the game from there.

I think it would be tricky to 'shop all the telltales out to make it look legit, (and I'm rather good at that, IMHO) and I bet they have a verification set up to make sure the user won.
I'm willing to put up the one-move-left screenshot, for fun- but endgame?

Got snagit, haven't installed it. Photobie isn't installed, either.
I've been satisfied with faststone for most all my needs, and I like the (simple, but usable) markup tools under 'draw' in the editor. :) Faster and easier than loading Photoshop or The GIMP.
being a (disabled) tech, 'don't fix it if it ain't broke' still works for me.

well, maybe it will save your progress after this? If it got set back, moving up will have to be done again. run a couple levels and see if they 'stick.'

Come to think of it xboxgamer, in fact I'm almost tempted to say yes just to drive you battier than untangle apparently is. Almost.
Bet it wouldn't do you a bit of good- not only do I use firefox, I use a customized color/font override-the-site scheme both in the browser and the OS on this laptop, highly specialized for reading ebooks in html- plus tweaks to nasa night launch- and it'd take you a week to come close to the custom shades I came up with. <snicker>
Amusing thought, that.

Thank you scubaguy, but no, I was just chatting with goodgodt about scroll down shots, he was looking for a tool. I use mostly Faststone Capture, it's o.k. for everyday use, only the scroll down capturing is not very satisfying.
My problem ( one of all ) are those %&$*? dots and lines. I lost them in the 13.th level, and have just started from the beginning. Have to come through with them!Posted 9 months ago # -
huh. I thought I was suggesting one. what doesn't work right for you on scrollshots? It even moves over sideways to catch stuff wider than the window. (slow, that)

xboxgamer - I'm afraid you are on your own. There were many times I thought I wouldn't make it through this game. I'm selfish and will not relinquish my victory to anyone! ;) Like goodgotd said, I doubt it would do you any good. You still have plenty time remaining.

Tried to use SnagIt to get screen captures the other day and something must have corrupted it. It completely froze up and had to use task manager to close it. I ended up using another GOTD offering, XStarter, which is a macro recorder. It has a routine set up to take a screenshot of the active window and send it to the desktop using the hot keys "ctrl-home".

@funkymom- hang in there, we're rootin' for you!
Gotta admit, it's not real simple, like the 3-in-a-row games- but you don't have a timer pushing you either.
And if you're lucky (like I was on the last couple of levels, after a decent sleep break) you'll grok a method that lets you yank the dots out of the tight knot, slide some of the connected-to-lots dots around and spot the dots that have to be the outside, and then just start nesting the other layers inside.
some levels have to fit lines close together and not cross, but there are *lots* of solutions that work, not one shape or pattern they have to fit.

@maizeydaze- funny, with all the custom stuff on here until I saw that screenshot I had no idea there were shade bands on alternate postings!

If you haven't got an answer, Don't forget it is a weekend and they might not be in the office. You may not hear back from them until Monday or Tuesday. But the two screenshots is what they suggested to me was suitable proof.

Well, I just sent the "you win" shot, and my codes were sent out about 5:50- my time- whereever they are it's monday da 25th- just checked my email and there they were. Slick.
