blown memory means at times I glance away and wonder where I was.

Your meds don't sound too bad - I glance away and wonder "who" I am and who took my elephant and replaced her with a shiny new pirate ship. Time to order some more coffee. (or go to bed - it's almost 5.30am and the sun will soon be up, and I'm parked in a "No Standing" zone).

I was a grad student in the Applied Math at UofA and the Dept Head, Dr. Tabor, worked on knot theory. It is fascinating and very very hard. In fact long carbon chains make knots which in turn makes life as we know it possible.

I started looking at it from a math problem point of view. I used to teach beginners discrete Math and a simple introduction to graph theory so I tried to find an algorithm to solve the general problem.

After a couple of hours I gave up and now I am in level 13 but I didn't take a screenshot of the completed level 10. Is there any way to recover it without having to solve it again?

Finally finished that accursed smiley-face. Now on to EVIL. This does not look fun.

  4. I thought my drinking a quart was bad. Four LITERS is over a GALLON. You win... but do you ever blink? Any spams you get from the Côte d'Ivoire should come with thank you notes from the plantation owner himself.

yar, over 2 pots a day minimum. SF Bay french roast bean, so I can get it strong enough. and it's not enough to offset the meds.

20 mg valium, 20 mg flexeril, 60 mg celexa, 2-3 mg requip- plus pain meds. :)

Now I am confused. I am working these problems using intuition and sometimes I solve it not knowing that I did until it is too late and the screen disappears. I don't recall seeing anything different when I finished level 10 but then again I am hindered by psych meds and I have trouble remembering what I did the day before.

The Valentine's day Special page doesn't say what to send, it just says to email to an address, but it does not mention anything about screenshots. Any help please?

  7. I think if you wanted to quit before level 20, and retain any sanity you have left - a screenshot of say level 13 (13 dots across the top) should be evidence you have completed level 10. (Obviously the only was to 13 is by completing 10).

But don't quit and run away - there is more satisfaction in solving level 20 than solving level 10. If you think it is challenging now - you should try the last few levels... muhahahaha

Thanks BuBBy, I'm on level 15 now and I intend to keep going. I am being more careful and taking screenshots of just about everything. When you finish a level, the picture disappears and the new level starts. What happens when you finish level 20? Can you take screenshots showing that you finish it?

Sorry Rune, prescriptions only. Maybe Canada will be a better place to shop. I hear their Health Department actually helps patients, but I find it hard to believe after going (suffering maybe?) through their US sibling.

  10. What I did on level 20 - obviously I knew I was getting close with 1 or 2 lines left. When I knew that my next move was going to solve it - I screenshot the puzzle with one "obvious" move remaining. Then I completed the puzzle and a "win/congrats" style screen appears and I took a screenshot of that - then send those last two files to the email address on their site, and got the codes for the product that I wanted.

only reason *I* get valium is I'm allergic to *all* the 'preferred' meds, sorry.

    *paraniod* scrip only.

    Addictive, oooh.

as though flexeril and 100% of antidepressants aren't just as bad.

Want irony? I got 325mg quinine sulphate caps for 12 years 3/day a/n 4 cramps until the greedy scum got their historic patent back and priced it over a buck a cap. (1000+% increase) Now I just have to suffer.

I'd bet just the congrats screen would do- but I've taken shots of every intro past 10 anyway.

btw, am I correct that if you disconnect you have to start at the demo level again?

I finally finished it! Just sent the "You won" screenshot off to Aimersoft. Yesterday, when I finished level 10, I took a screenshot of level 11 and emailed that. I received the link and registration code for the Audio Converter about an hour later.

BTW, level 20 seems easier than level 19, even with the additional dots.

You are correct good, I started playing yesterday until I got to level 13. I closed the window and opened a new one and it was still in level 13. Now I am taking shots of the intros, the configuration before the solution which I edit putting an arrow on the dot that goes into the place that solves the problem.

Now I wonder if one can just draw the solution, but I guess you can do it only if you know the answer, right?

As for meds I am getting lorazepam (atavin) a bit stronger than diazepam (valium). My psych doc wanted to put me on clonazepam, but my hepatologist recommended not to. If you want strong benzos, the best is Xanax (Alprazolam). Those will take your anxiety away fast and lasts more than the others. Unfortunately that's a no no for a non perfect liver. These are all DEA controlled substances and can only be acquired with a doctor's prescription.

  15. After learning how many GAOTD members are joined at the hip to pharmas and doctors, my having to take an occasional allergy pill seems downright boring.

As I wrote earlier, the developer says the Flash Stored Object file has the data needed to reopen where you left off if you close the program. He wasn't specific as to whether there was just one or two files stored and I haven't gone in to check. The link should be something like this on your system:
    C:\Documents and Settings\xxxYourUserNamexxx\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\filename.sol
    C:\Documents and Settings\xxxYourUserNamexxx\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\#.www.UNTANGLE.com\setting.sol (maybe it'll be #.www.nonoba.com)

    try:

    nothing in the shared objects.

I wrote to the fellow who made this game, Chris, to tell him how much I "enjoyed" Untangle and here is what I got in response:

"My pleasure, and to your discomfort I can inform you that untangle 2 will be out shortly so you can relive the horror ;)

This time with much more levels and a better UI to help you solve it."

  18. Hooray !! (Ignore my earlier comment - a new puzzle isn't the same as solving the old puzzle twice).

Maybe with the extra challenge of a timer to track the fastest solutions :)

  22. Reading all about those pills and meds made me really
mad. I'm just coming out of an eight year long nightmare.
Eight years only looking at my life like a movie. My
children get married? Yeah, fine - look how nice the
bride is...I'm getting to be grandma? Yeah, happy me -
for half an hour - than falling back into that mist, that
absorbs most of the pain but also every emotion.
I'm still fighting, and have to re-learn a lot of things, not only English.
Trying a new pill - but very, very cautious. Have set up a checklist,
going through twice a day: have had no call to the kids for a week? DO IT NOW!
and monitor your pain killer use. Haven't seen a movie how long? Do it now!
    -------
But now I'll give those $%§?#* dots 'n lines a new try after having lost it to ccleaner at level 13 with only 2 lines to go.
goodgodt you wrote something about "try:
    C:\Documents and Settings...
, I found some files there, but don't know what to do with them? Please have a look at :

  23. xboxgamer are you using firefox ?
I had the same troubles in the beginning. Then I loaded it in IE tab and could start the game; after that there were no problems with firefox directly.

i gave up on this game early, it's the kind of thing that makes me nuts.
and i don't need help in that department.......which brings me to the medications.
i am also someone who has been on many, many medications in the past (and just a few currently). i can relate. graylox- i'm sorry you had such a terrible experience, sounds like you didn't realize it was bad until you were out of it.

although, from my experiences, i do believe that drugs can help, i also believe that you really have to watch out and be aware and supervised while going through the ,sometimes very, long trial to find the right ones for you and whatever your situation is.
    how's that for a run-on(and on and on)sentence?

    peace(sorry about the hijack)-

This is a challenging game! I have been playing it in Firefox, and did have to update my flash player. I also switched off last night on screen 19. Today it opened back up at screen 19, so I don't think there is any need to leave the computer on overnight. However, I will not claim that it will work for everyone, just in case someone loses their hard-won position.

Finished that ^(^)*)*) smiley, and yer right, that last level is unmistakeably EVIL.

    easier my hairy red hidebehind.

    aaargh!

@emperor- above in the comments I posted where the save token is, though your login name replaces rugg ratt. on winnt+

@funkymom- it helps a lot when you have a doc willing to listen and work with a body to get the best compromise on med mixes.

first 4 years I was disabled all I had was 40 mg of valium a day- stoned stupid.

I'm guessing I had about an IQ of 75 out of the 160 I had. now maybe 105 on a good day.

But every visit we'd go over new meds to see if they might replace some, and the current mix is waiting for another breakthrough.

@graylox- BTDT, sounds a lot like my 'first 4', my condolences. Takes a lot to fight clear.

C:\Documents and Settings\<your login name>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\#nonoba.com\ is where it stores the file that keeps track of where you are in the game; settings.sol is the file itself. at least I was sure of that until I got your screenshots- looks like 2 more to protect.

I just zip or rar them in place, then read-only the archives.

BTW, http://www.321download.com/LastFreeware/page4.html has the last free version of faststone screen capture- it does scrolling windows, which is handy. Found one called Photobie that's supposed to but haven't tried it yet.

@BuBBy- this is after 14+ years of building up immunity. to a 'normal' person 10 mg of valium alone generally flattens them, and 20 for a small person can be potentially lethal. me, I've gotten off my nut and taken *800* mg in a suicidal rage- and woken up 48 hours later with no worse than a hangover. annoying, that.

  29. goodgotd please, I need a very, very slow help! I don't understand what to do with those files? Where shall I put them?
I have to get rid of these dots before the new version is coming.
I have that faststone-version, but the scrolling option is not really perfect. For long sites or texts I prefer the FiFo extension Screengrab! :
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146
Photobie is a full-fledged graphics prog. Don't know why it always is called "screenshot tool". Give it a try.
Hmmm, have just now found another very disturbing discovery in my programs folder - can't believe it. Must check it out before starting a new weird thread - oh no...

@greylox- those files you just have to make sure ccleaner doesn't wipe them, and you can log back in and start at the same level.

I use faststone more for windows explorer, disc catalogs, and text editors, firefox is rare. I just meant photobie says it can do scrolling screenshots, not that that's it's main purpose.

Done it, by Klono's jagged teeth. Now all I need is to get it downloaded.

@xboxgamer- screenshot wouldn't do much good with somebody else's username, would it?
