Sorry about the double post ..rather than leave it blank, I'll leave an explanation.. Word Press told me "slow down, you move too fast" and returned me to this page...and duplicated my last post.

Likely, the GAOTD regulars have already mentioned most, if not all. (but ya never know)

  4. Has anyone seen really good wallpapers with pets, especially dogs? I've been gradually checking out the sites listed here and just by doing web searches but I haven't seen any good pet wallpapers.

  6. Thanks Rune, that's just what I was looking for. Amazing how you can do all kinds of searches and not find what you want, then ask someone and "poof" there it is. :)

Thank you Bobby, some of them are new for me.
Your rubber dinghy seems to have dsl-cable or are you untroubled by the water ?
    I do hope so.

You're welcome! Possibly some of them have been posted before, but I cannot spend much time on here the past few days .. could not check. If duplicates, forgive me!

Oh, this is not just ANY dingy, Graylox .. this is a Navy dingy, with all the amenities :)

Actually, we're on high ground right now .. the water recedes, advances, recedes .. tricky stuff, that water. Bless you for asking!

BTW..have you seen LeKanaw and Maizey? I wanted to thank them for standing up for me. It was the most heartwarming and thoroughly lovely act of kindness .. and I've been so busy treading water, I forgot to thank them properly.

Bobby, I'm right here, checking in before I hit the sack. You did thank us, but no thanks are needed. You are welcome anyway! Now, please try and stay dry. Take care and good luck with your soggy situation. :)

Bobby, those are some great wallpaper links. Thanks.

BK, why don't you make your own "Buckley wallpaper"? He's so darn cute! :)

Gorgeous photos, Maizey .. thanks for posting the link. The images of China were breathtaking, particularly the snow-covered landscape cradling the Great Wall.

Happened to notice the link to previous offerings and made a serendipitous discovery: the thorny devil lizard of Oz can 'drink' via channels between its scales.... imagine being able to drink water through channels on ones feet? Methinks I wouldn't spend a lot of time around the ocean .. ;)

Thanks again .. not every day a simple thing like wallpaper can give me some trivia to pass on to the grandkids.

Old sailors are often referred to as 'old salts,' but not for that reason :} It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure we're supposed to keep the salt water on the _outside_ ... which reminds me why I gave up this sport!
