Free PC Games for NVidia Users
if you have a graphics card made by NVidia then you can get 4 games for free including an 11 level demo of Portal: First Slice, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life 2: Loast Coast and Peggle Extreme. You need to create a free Steam account which will automatically detect your graphics card to get the games.

If you're behind a modern gateway/router, check portforward.com first to see if it can open enough ports for Steam. My 3com can't- oh well.
Thanks very much K8 for the link to Steam. I haven't downloaded the games as yet but they are ready to go in my download manager when I want them. I even purchased a game from them. There are some great value purchases available from Steam.

The version of Peggle Extreme supplied has 10 levels. I get the impression that there is much more to the game if you are prepared to pay for it.
I haven't downloaded the other games yet so can't comment on them.
