   I don't mean to sound cynical, fergu38397 old chum (well, okay, yes I do), but here are several questions...
   Q: Have your friends, family and grandkids ever mentioned that your site may actually be one of the most jumbled and disordered on the web?
   Q: Do you offer free maps, compasses, GPS devices, bloodhounds or indian tracker/guides to help locate specific groups of software?
   Q: Do you give any credit to the places and posters from whom you "swipe" links?
   Q: Did you post your message here in hopes it would -
   1) generate traffic to your site and raise your SEO ranking, or
   2) get people to click on the hundreds of ad banners littering the site?

    you had to go and mention zero mostel.........causing me to ramble about another childhood memory..............when i was a kid, my dad (a huge zero mostel fan) got us a book of opposites with zero mostel acting them out. (i think it was affiliated with sesame street too)it was hilarious.

    okay.........that wasn't too bad in the rambling department.

    Glad to give you a family moment, there, Funky, though I'm unfamiliar with what you call a "book of opposites". Please 'splain.

    FREE MATCHING GAME, anyone? Alchemy seems perfect for aspiring RUNEsages and wizardlings. Coulda sworn someone (FwF??) posted the game on GAOTD; but, apparently not. Johnny Appleseed found it buried in the "Developer Tools | Compilers & Interpreters" section on the 2006 aisle of the GAOTD Freeware Library. Very odd filing system, that.

    You can still download the OFF-line version, or try the online version ON-line version first.

    UPDATE: What a kick in the behind... never experienced this before, but the GAOTD "free" download seems to be a 10-play trial version. Poo!
