Hello, guys and gals! When I started this campaign, I fully intended to be able to complete about 50 days worth of freeware games offerings.

Things have changed for me, and I find my time is really limited now, and will be for the next few weeks. So, until further notice, I will have to abandon this series of posts. I'll still try to make time to post freeware lists like I have in the past, but even those will be in short supply.

But fear not, it's for a good cause, and I fully intend to continue on with the series at some time in the not-too-distant future.

And anyways, you were all cursing me, hollering at me, throwing rotten tomatoes at me, and even threatening to cook my cat in a microwave, all because you thought I was responsible for you getting too many programs to deal with. :-) So, now you have nothing to complain about.

OK, see ya's when I can, and hold down the fort!

Gee FWF, I never offered to throw your cat in a microwave, I was simply thinking more along the lines of tying you up, and forcing you to call telephone tech support for a while, lol

    Thanks, Mapsking

    Hi there my friend
Hope the project is going beautifully. With u in the middle, I'm sure it's going to be SPLENDID!!!

I'll miss YOU buddy, but wont miss the avalanche of links - it's true that this momentary absence of yours will give me some respite to play catch up. Huhmm, you were NOT talking about my tomatoes, I'm sure... And I only offered "to play" w the cat...

But you are still coming by to see our rants & silliness, right??
    Peace, Manu

FWF.. like LeKnanaw said, it will give a chance to play catch up with all the different links! But, whatever it is that you are up to.. that's beginning to sound like a mystery novel or something! And, we don't believe in microwaving cats, and our weathers too cold here for spare tomatoes to throw, so you're safe for now! LOL

Maybe now I'll even have time to follow the links Whiterabbit posted (was that last night or today?). Anyway, keep checking it and we'll keep a lamp in the window!

Me Thinks thou protests to much??
If you will look at my previous post,I never mention any names...(only the guilty need reply..) Might I remind you I still have my trusty butter knife at my side.
Sooo!! the gauntlet has been tossed down, and it is butter knives at 100 paces,(changed to 100 paces ,instead of 50) ,figuring we will both be to tired to do battle after walking 100 paces and can then come to a peaceful and friendly resolution.
If all else all fails, the best defense is to turn around and place one foot in front of the other in rapid succession and I will run like Hell!!!

As far as what I've been doing lately??Do to the Arctic blast coming down from Canada (for which I hold you personally responsible)I have been fighting off Those white flaky brain eating chiggers falling from the sky, WE are Doomed !!! the inhumanity of it all!!!
Yes I did get the wallpapers .
    Na Nu Na Nu!!!!

  11. Good luck, FwF! Sorry I can't volunteer to help but between a disabled hubby, my health problems, my Kate Mulgrew and Mira Furlan mailing lists, tons of email, games and programs from GAOTD I NEED to learn, my other forum I am quite active in and REAL LIFE, I just don't think I could fit it in right now.

Hi SC (sorry I didn't answer sooner, I was looking for this thread! Grey cells not working well...)
Thank you for that MOST enjoyable silliness. I laughed so loud, hubby thought I was going bonkers! 8>)
Though, not reallyyyyy sure about the 100 paces. At this age, I think 75 would be a nice compromise, yes?? Pretty please?!?!

I also would like to know how u got around the Adobe thingy to get to the wallpapers.
Don't forget to tell me about it, next time u come out to play w our butter knives & swords :*)

Oh, and that Arctic blast, certainly has nothing to do w me, au contraire!!
Don't u know, I've been trying for many years to start a petition to eliminate or at least reduce the white stuff, without any success at all!!! I'm w you: "the inhumanity of it all" INDEED. So cold & dark for so long, I'm fed up w it!! I DO need more sunshine!!!
    Peace, Manu

  13. If you like puzzles and brainteasers, I found a page of delightful examples.
These are tiny downloads and could probably be used on portable dev's too.
This link is for a beautiful, smoothly animated Lloyds puzzle.(remember when these were little plastic pocket puzzles, red and white tiles with numbers 1 through 15 in gold?

Want more or want something else? Here are more tiny classic teasers with a new twist by the same author.

    Hi LD:
Wow, Thank YOU indeed!! It's such fun
Oh Yes, not only I do remember, I'm quite sure I still have some of those "somewhere"'round here , btwn a Pezz & a Slinky. Oh yeah, going down memory lane :=)

Listen, I posted this game sometime ago, don't know if u caught it at the time.
    To play online.
-Do not let the Cat get out of the square.
-Each time u make a move, he makes one too.
-The Cat goes anywhere he wants, but can't go through the dark dots
    Very simple, right?

    Hi LeKanaw
Never did get around the Adobe thingy, just used the second site you linked to and took wallpaper from it.
I too will gladly put my name on your petition, I went outside without a hat and was instantly attacked by the dreaded Flaky white alien brain chiggers, and as I feared I now have far less brain cells then needed to function!!!!
    SEND HELP!!!!Please!!??
Would like to propose a solution to our duel, this way both of our great countries do not loose face.
Forget the 50,75,or 100 paces but instead we agree upon 1000 paces, this way at that distance neither one of us will be able to even see the other person, then we each declare ourselves winners, saying that the other one didn't show up.
We can then take our butter knives home and use them for their intended purpose on breakfast toast. How's that.

May The Force Of The Mango be with You.

Thanks for all the well wishes, gang! As you can see, I'll still be dropping by from time to time, and whenever I run across something, I'll make a quick visit to post the information. I should have more time to spend here in a couple of weeks.

Be well, everyone! :-) (And don't forget.... Enjoy the Journey!)
