Registry Easy

    I would like to request GOTD to put 'Registry Easy' please. I am desperately waiting for this software. Alternatively if anybody is aware of similar sort of freeware, please let me know.

    uhhh, what is it? URL? And I'm sure somebody (where's BuBBy?) is going to point out this should be in the 'suggestions' thread, but *I'm* curious- never heard of it.

    Sorry man!! its my mistake. It should be read as "Registry Easy". The URL is http://www.registryeasy.com/.

    This is already been offered as give away once. One of my friend downloaded it. Its a very effective software to sort out System Registry, Tuning up your PC and taking care of errors etc.

    I went to the website u indicated. I must be dense AND blind, could never find a price listed anywhere!! And they are giving that 'free' scanner a lot of prominence!

    I just had a look at the Registration page - I'm not real keen on programs that you need to hand over your contact details before they will tell you how much the product costs. :(

    Indeed Bubby, my thoughts exactly!! :-(
    They have written "Free" all over the place, but always referring to the scanner. If one is in a hurry it looks like it's the program that is free. Seemed fishy to me.

    And I also remember a post u made last week(or the week b4? It's hard to keep up) where you explained why u really don't like sw that say they can do everything and make the dishes too. In the end, they don't do anything well! It only makes the newbies feel they are doing something, without really understanding what.

    You see, I was listening - and learning ;-)

    Firstly - I would suggest reading:

    Do I need a registry cleaner?
    BTW. Claims by people who sell registry cleaner software that cleaning your registry is a guarantee of performance benefits and PC Speedups - are just not true. But if it makes you happy to clean, clean and clean.... make sure you take backups.

    (I've seen more problems caused than I've seen fixed, by "cleaning" the registry).

    These three programs do everything you need in terms of Registry & General PC File Cleanup. Everything else is fluff.
