I know that very few people actually post on the giveaway or here for that matter but is there a way to find out how many people are actually downloading the giveaways?

I'm sure the guys behind the curtain maintain accurate hit counts at both the front end and back end of the registration activation process. IMHO, it should be treated as proprietary information, certainly something to hold close to the vest until they use it for auditing purposes when selling ad space. No sense telling the competition how successful a nascent webby niche this be.
