Is there a GAOTD widget or thing for your desktop so you could just check the new giveaway from your desktop. Like maybe with google desktop or yahoo widgets.
If it dosn't exist than if it could be written I would really Appreciate it.

I use FeedDemon (which is free) and subscribe to the RSS giveaway feeds (and anything else I want) - basically as soon as something gets updated (like a new giveaway) I can see the latest entry in FeedDemon. I get updates and monitor dozens of my favorite sites that way - that way even if nothing has changed - I don't waste any time visiting and opening pages looking for something new (that isn't there).

Wow that's pretty cool and very simple to use thanks for the suggestion.
Your right now I don't have open a web browser to look at all the forums I'm with and I can check what the giveaway of the day is and if I don't want it I don't have to go on it.

RSS is used just about everywhere on this site (and lots of others) - you can subscribe to comments for a giveaway - replies to a topic - and most other sites support RSS also.
