Can,t get ZC Video Converter to activate.

I have tried several times to activate ZC Video Converter but all I get is invalid username or password. This is the first time this has occured.

  2. The username and registration code are also in the readme.txt file.

When trying to register - copy & paste the name and code rather than typing - to ensure accuracy.

With these type of registrations - capital and lower case letters are not the same - (eg. a code of "Giveaway" will not work if you spell it "giveaway" (no capital G)

Use the name provided in the Readme.txt - your own name probably will not work.

Check the number code is complete - verify the first few and last few digits are the same as the original (If you are a "numbers person" feel free to check the entire code. Twice if necessary).

Hold your tongue to the side of your mouth while typing (some users find this helps also).

    Good Luck.

    BuBBy,

I was following your instructions on how to install and register the software. Everything was working fine until I got to the part about the tongue. Since you didn't say which side of the mouth to hold it in, I took the safe option and held it in the middle while sticking it out at the screen -- this did not seem to work. Please advise as to proper side for this and future software installations.

  5. I guess BuBBy is right, the activation codes are in the readme.txt, remember to check there!

I have successfully registered this POS no less than SIX times. Each time I close, then reopen the program it asks me to register it. I do, SUCCESSFULLY! Try to convert a video, asks me to register AGAIN! I do, SUCCESSFULLY! I can then convert as many files as I like till I close the program. When I reopen it, it asks me to register it! Geesh!!! What's up with THAT, Bubby?

  7. What OS are you running? Are you running anything that might be blocking registry updates or sandbox type software that might be rolling back the activation when you exit?

xp Pro Sp 2. No sandbox, nothing else that I can think of. Never had any kind of problem like this before. Like I said, registers successfully...'Registered To Giveawayoftheday'. The 'About' window will show registered. That is till I close and reopen the program! :-) Have to register it again before it opens...while it's still open, try to convert a video...have to register it YET AGAIN! Thanks for the reply!

I dl this giveaway on windows vista home premium, thought it was a great giveaway. Registered it as the instructions.. giveaway of the day and the serial. Everything looked fine. Today I was going to convert some stuff, so went to open the program and received the message that the trial version would only convert 50% ,, so what happened. Anyone else have this problem... and would REALLY like the FULL program.. thanks for your replies

As I posted earlier, it was doing the exact same thing with me. I just launched the program, again...had to register it again to open, then register AGAIN to convert a file. This time it seems to have taken, though. Closed & reopened program several times, and it's still registered. Try to register it, again
