Every now and again I suddenly feel the urge to say a big fat THANK YOU to GOTD and all the providers of games and software. So,....

I want to say a special thank you to BuBBy! I know how it feels to be a volunteer and have a lot of people think he should do the work because he is "paid". I am also a volunteer moderator and/or administrator on several boards. It is work and the only pay we get is the satisfaction of helping others.
I personally am glad to see more moderation done here to keep some of the comments from getting out of hand and some posters getting a little too personal in their complaints.

Looks like I may have opened a wound or two in the forums. I am a white woman,from Texas. English is my only language and I do not have a learning disability. I said what I meant. People look a gift horse in the mouth every day, and still complain about what was free. But to kick that same horse when you should be thanking them for what they do for you. That is wrong. Thank you GGAOTD for all the games you give me.
GOTD Thank You You Guys are First thing right after getting My Morning Coffee and Slippers, then I can sit and see whats New in the cyper world. You People are doing an awesome thing here, You Make so Many people Happy, Thank You for all Your efforts to Please all people. (some just can't be pleased tho..lol)

Yes indeed, coming here becomes addictive, not necessarily bc of the "free stuff", but because some people 'round here are really nice, fun to talk to, very helpful. I especially come for the Mango Juice every morning(or night...)! ;-)
No, the Mods are not paid. Yes, what they do is *real* work. It's hard to deal w ppl gripping all day, everyday, demanding always more, insulting each other, never satisfied.
But worst, I don't really get this notion that because the Mods "are getting paid" (which they aren't), there is no need to be grateful or polite! Since when? Why?
Yes, this site is a business, but is this an excuse for the lack of civility?
I especially want to mention our Mr.B, who is here in the Forums around the clock helping everybody w their tech problems, most of which have nothing to do w the Giveaways or Games, AND ALSO does the comments in the front pages!
I have a deep suspicion that either he has a double or his days have more than 24h!!
How does he do it all?? And he never gets mad!! Are u ppl sending him fortified Mango Juice or something?? Hummmm...

A very very big thank you to everyone involved with the Giveaway project. Since I started coming here back in November 06 it's been my first stop just as soon as I get up virtually every morning. I look forwards to visiting every morning, and have gained some great insights into programs, both commercial and freeware that I'd never have even given a second look before the Giveaway. (eg Magic Score, HDDLife Pro, WireChanger and multitude of others)
I've bought several because I've found them so useful. :)

Thank you for setting up this wonderful 'Santa' site that provide us a daily 'treats' for software and game. :) Since then, this is what 'inspire' me to on my laptop every morning when I wake up or before bed (some days I sleep late :) ). I may get 'spoiled' by all goodies but definitely not an 'ungrateful one' that 'make noise' on some days when is not my kind of 'toys'.. Please keep up your good job and maintain forever...ver.......er. Thanks guys.

That's perfectly alright Locket - you don't have to like match-3s.
You should just respect that other people do like them - and that's 100% ok too.
(I'm not too keen on match-3s either, but there are thousands of free games across the net which I call "match-nothing, kill-everything"). I play them instead.
It's just a game, not like it's the end of the world (if you know a good game where the world ends too, I'd like to see that on GGOTD. But not a dolphin-y type game with flowers and stuff - just rockets and big guns and fast space ships. Thanks).

Oh, I do. I was making a joke about how some of the other visitors get all worked-up about how somebody's "ungrateful" or "bashes the site" if they don't like match-3s. You know what I'm talking about.
