Nearly every day lately the website seems to be down for the first four hours of the give away - will the problem get solved?

I am not aware of any "four hour" outages. I remember last night (from memory) the English program giveaway took 2 hours to "display" - but it was updated for the other languages. In this case the site stayed up during this period.
I was told that about a week ago the GOTD team moved the site to larger/faster servers to meet the growing demands we were putting the site under.
As for the site being down for 4 hours nearly every day - All I can say, I don't believe so - and I'm fairly confident I would notice (unless it happens during the 4 hours each day while I am in "sleep mode").

I am getting 'Internet Explorer cannot display the web page. This could be.... etc. This is happening for about the first four hours of the giveaway. After lots of refreshing about every hour it eventually comes up. I have tried it in 'Firefox' and get the same result. Next time it happens I'll go on my laptop and try it in 'Safari'.
