Uconomix Encryption Unexpected error installing.
When you try and install on a vista machine you get the message.
"The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2869."
I didn't know the answer to your question, but I thought, "What the heck, I'd like to know." So I tried a Google search for "error code 2869" and got this result:
I don't use Vista so I couldn't test it, but this page seems to have the answer you need.
Thanks for that but unless i set it up right it didn't work as it came back with the error. i type in that command to a notepad and saved as all files and named it test.bat
This installation package could not be opened. Verify
that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.
Re to above you gave me the lead and this fixed it.
