   TechSmith is making Camtasia Studio 3 available for FREE (For a limited time).

   This is NOT a 30 day trial BUT the full program.... The current version is Camtasia Studio 5, which was released this month. However Camtasia Studio 3 is just fine for most users...

   Camtasia Studio 3.1.2 works with Windows 2000 and Windows XP (NOT Windows Vista).

   1. Download the free trial version of Camtasia Studio 3 at:

   Merry Christmas friend , a very nice Christmas present for me , I have wanted something like this for some time , I can do what I want with the movie maker that comes with XP windows but this is going to make life much easier for me when I do the stop frame animations I so dearly love to do , I thank you very much and you have the best year next year that you have ever had , may good luck follow where ever you go .

   Thanks for the post, bowlby4.
   While the recording works smooth and gives a choice of complete window, part of screen etc. I fin editing not so easy, but perhaps it just takes more time to get into it and perhaps run through the tutorials.
   Democreator, previously offered here, is easier accesible in that part. Perhaps they have an update that could be run.

   I notice you have to narrate things (which I probably could do) but I perfer not.

   You can't seem to put in little speech bubbles.
