MemberI don't think that he asked that. He didn't format his computer.
I had the same problem today. Yesterday the software worked great. Today, when I turned the computer on, the program said it was unregistered and asked me to buy a license.
PS: I've done exactly what the readme file said to when I installed the program, and I've been getting software here for a long time. This is the first time this happens.Posted 16 years ago # -
I never said the same question was being asked.
I meant the same response applies to the above question as the other.
In the event that there is a problem with the software that causes everyones software to revert to a trial (it has happenned before) a fixed version is usually re-offered as a giveaway (like todays re-run).
In the event somebody misses a giveaway, forgets to activate, has some other problem with their PC or the software on it that prevents the activate from working - an immediate rerun is less likely.
To date we (Forum Moderators and Users) have never been given permission to hand out activation codes to reinstall expired giveaways.
There have always been 4 options in this case. Continue with the trial, Register the full version, Wait for a possible rerun, or uninstall and possibly find and install an alternative.
