using iMac, anyone?

    I recently upgraded to an iMac (yessss) and am still experiencing a learning curve, especially with GotD offers. I've already learned about the 'drag to applications folder' for some installations, and use StuffIT for others...

    but when I try to activate a Giveaway, it wants to bring up BlueTooth to phone home (not installed...using AirPort). This happens even within Parallels' virtual WindowsXP environment.

    What Mac program can I use to install and activate Giveaways, if any? Are any of the Giveaways suitable for iMac? If not, can the remarkably resourceful Giveaway team (shameless, I know) arrange to get iMac or 'nix programs?

    There´s a dual boot manager if you got an Intel Mac.
    It´s called Bootcamp and provided by Apple.
    With that tool you can create a NTFS partition and directly install WinXP on the Mac. :-)

    Great news. The boot manager will be part of the next version of OS X.

    Thanks for the rapid responses, folks!

    Haven't tried Boot Camp, but I did purchase Parallels, which is a program allowing XP to run in a virtual environment on this Intel-based Mac. The activation process does not always work there, either. (Wish I had known about Boot Camp prior to purchasing Parallels!)

    On the bright side, all of my too-dang-expensive graphic manipulation programs (like Photoshop and PhotoImpact) work just fine within Parallels. The Giveaways are the only items that will not, and only because of the activation process.
