I downloaded and activated the mediagrabber from a few days ago. Now I started it again, and now I have to re enter the code. Which I donot know and even if it would not work anymore. Is this problem more heard? Because I liked this program, and used it several tiomes, even yesterday!

Can you be more specific? I don't know if your using some type of langauage converter or not but its not actually clear what your asking.
I will try. I installed and activated this program. When I started it again the day after GAOTD offered it, I was asked to aregister this program, so I cannot use it anymore. I have to re enter the activation code, which will not work anym,ore, because GAOTD is no longer available , at least this program not.
I have used it, I liked it, but now it won't work for me. May be you understand what I mean now?

I'm still not entirely sure what program you are referring to when you talk about "the mediagrabber".
I've gone back (based on the date of your original post) and as best I can determine, the program you are referring to is "Web Stream Recorder Pro" by Sytexis Software.
The original giveaway was held on October 2, 2007

The program when started prompted users to downloaded a newer version (which veteran GOTD users would know reverts the program back to a trial version).
This is probably what happened to you.
Then on October 16, 2007 a "fixed" version was offered.

If you had got the giveaway on October 16 - you problem would've been fixed. Now as that giveaway is over, your options are limited.

Sytexis might have the fixed Giveaway version still available that you can install over your existing copy. But there are no promises - providing this fix for you is entirely up to their good nature.
There was a file to download, and it was called AlMedia Grabber. I do not recall what date I could download it, but it was certainly not the programm you wrote about.

However my copy still works correctly, I'm not sure why the software is asking for the code to be re-entered.

I just started receiving the following message when starting AllMedia Grabber: "This free version of "AllMedia Grabber" is over. If you want to retain the program please buy it, or else, uninstall it." After hitting the OK button, the program comes up and the about box says it is registered to giveawayoftheday. Any thoughts on how to get rid of the nag screen? This was not supposed to have been a trial version.
So the program says that it is both Registered and Un-registered? That's definitely a new one for me.
If anyone else has got this - please post. (It sounds like a bug to me).
I'll check my cataogs tomorrow, see what I have in notes- flat don't recall if it's still installed or if the activation is still in the registry- I might have lost the desktop icon and forgot about it still on the drive.

I don't suppose that Fotis would address this issue? Perhaps we could have a repeat of this offer? The updated version 1.3 might be better behaved.

There is apparently a misunderstanding on the part of the publisher that giveawayoftheday is a trial distribution scheme only. Or do I misunderstand? I thought I had a durable license. Could we have a clarification?
