I download and installed the AptEdit on Sept 18th. Today I updated it, since it said that there was a new update. After updating I lost the registration information, and it is now at 23 days and counting, for my "TRIAL" period.
How do I get my registration back.
It might work if you install the old version again. (Not sure if this is possible as I don't have the old version to check).
It is normal for giveaways to revert to trials if you try to upgrade/update to a newer version, as the developers do not permit free upgrades (as is mentioned in the readme and on the download site).
The activation codes normally only work for the giveaway version.
