Out of curiousity, is it ever possible to repeat a giveaway from before, for those who are newer or happened to miss one?

Yes, a few, such as Premium Booster have already been offered again and I'm sure others will be in the future.
There are a couple of threads here in the forums:

where you can make your desires known.It might help to write to the developers and let them know you missed the day their software was offered and tell them how much you would appreciate the opportunity to see it here again.

Eh, there'll always be complainers, especially with the current systems. Let 'em whine... there'll always be smarter people around to contrast with them.
