I thought I originally got Ashampoo Photo Commander from GAOTD, but I don't see it in the archives. Anyway, here it is ALMOST free. I'm not sure how long this offer will last, but here is a link to buy Photo Commander 5 for $9.99. They regularly offer very good deals on their software if you will sign up for their newsletter.

This unfortunately named software is my FAVORITE video player. Yes, video! And audio.

    Here's their own description:
"Ashampoo Photo Commander 5 is an all-in-one application for organizing, editing, sharing and presenting photo collections. It also features additional creativity tools and audio and video management capabilities, making it a complete media management package."

There are a LOT of photo editing tools:
"You can generate web albums of your photos that you can post on your home page. You can send your photos to friends by email, create collages, calendars and greeting cards, add picture frames and vignettes, insert text bubbles, add text, create slide shows and view them on your computer or burn them to CD or DVD, complete with a viewer program so that anyone can play them. You can also back up your images to CD or DVD, also without leaving the program."

See more details about the program here:

No, I do NOT work for them. I'm just a fan.

No problem, anytime. It's good to look over that site from time to time. www.vnunet.com/downloads/ You can get some free programs on there from time to time that you would otherwise have to pay for. I hope you all like the Ashampoo program and sometimes Ashampoo even gives away freebies if you are on the newsletter.
