offlineMemberIf the admins ever really consider this post, then please at least try to contact the company SlySoft, and get their, AnyDVD, which is legal, or even one of their programs would be helpful to me, not because I'm copying something, but actually, I make images of disks, so I can use them without the disk in the drive.

I really need badly adobe photoshop for my work.
HaHaHa - Adobe Photoshop... that is so funny. (You missed it by a few days - we all got photoshop last week)
Secondly - if your work needs software - they will have to purchase it. All giveaways are for personal (non-commercial) use only.

However, when it comes down to picture taking we all can't be in the same league as Ansel Adams, Annie Leibovitz, or Richard Avedon (you can look them up). With that in mind our only hope lies in “digital manipulation” to cover up our mistakes, and when it comes to covering up mistakes in pictures, nothing does that shorter and sweeter than “In Paint”. Since I’ve been good for goodness sakes, I’m hoping that when Santa Claus comes to my town he’ll leave me a license for that exceptional program.
*Aside: With all sincerity as far as this homeboy is concerned, “In Paint” or no “In Paint”, when comes down to GAOTD practically everyday is like a holiday. You folks are the Ansel Adams, Annie Leibovitz, and Richard Avedon, of your league!

offlineMemberI would love Jaksta as a giveaway. I am always trying to watch videos on Hulu.com, but I don't know if the site is overloaded or if it's my spotty wireless internet connection, but I can never watch a whole video. With the Jaksta, I could download it to my computer and watch it from there, without waiting for the buffer or being frustrated by internet hiccups. It's $35 normally, but maybe they would agree to a giveaway and a lower price, like some others do?

offlineMemberInstead of a new software request, I'd like to see a different activation method. I have a mac, and I've installed XP on it, but for some reason I don't have internet on the PC side. I was thinking of, instead of contacting the giveaway site for validation, then there would be a type of "time bomb" embedded in either the activation.exe or setup.exe. Then, the activation patch or the installer will not run (it could delete or corrupt itself?) after 11:59 on the Giveaway day. This would be a great help, as I'm missing out on a lot of great programs. Thanks.
Speaking of macs, is there any progress on Giveawayoftheday for macs?

1. It is a product which can protect you from ANY malware without any signature updates UNLIKE antivirus software.
2. You only need this to protect you without anything else. No need to keep any other security software!
3. This is extremely light ( 2.4mb STABLE on my system).
4. I think it will be a great giveaway with a good rating
5. This was given away before long back (November 20, 2007), unlike some media converter programs which are almost given every month...

If we're asking for the software then we've already tried it so what is in it for the company?
Why advertise by giving their product away to people who should have already brought it?I'd just like to see more giveaways from small up and coming companies that have something to offer and need the recognition.
Mybe a company like Faststone who offer very good shareware and freeware image programs or Elaborate Bytes who are, from what I know, a little known company that do wonders with disk imaging

I have reviewed several back-up and Sync programs and have found to like "Titan Backup" the best. Unfortunately having to install a new motherboard and new hard drive, I was unable to retain the last GAOTD version and now I really miss having it. I hope that GAOTD will again offer it for download in the near future.
