I'd like to suggest Maxivista, a program used to extend your desktop to another computer. This program is GREAT, except when the trial runs out :(

    Hello, :)

Could we possibly get "Cute Reminder" again? It had a 95% thumbs up when it ran in Dec of 2006. (http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/cute-reminder/)

    Thanks so much for considering!

I'd like to see Hidownload pro (http://www.hidownload.com/). While many downloaders can download from Youtube, etc, Hidownload is the only one that I have seen that can download streaming WMV files from anywhere, and save them to your machine. Several say they can, but they download only an index file.

Please talk to AKVIS about their program called "Coloriage". It colors in B&W photos or changes the colors on color photos. Not a bad price on it for what it does for those that work on photos a lot but for those of us on limited budgets - would sure love to see it here!!! I promise to show it off to everyone I know!!!!!!!

BTW Akvis is a company we have had before and a good company!

    Classic Menu for Office 2007:
    http://www.addintools.com/english/menuoffice/

Great for reducing learning curve of office 2007. trial is great. Adds a tab that has the old 2003 menus + the new features added to the menus. Even if you already know the new ribbon, this can help you out occassionally for finding a certain feature.

You've had online media grabbers in the past. Perhaps it would be a good time to give away Applan Media Capture?

I'd really like to see Starburn offered again. Last time, I (along with many others) was having problems running it. When I finally saw the solution posted (remove Romeo; it interferes with Starburn) the activation period was over.

    Smart Type Assistant 1.6 http://www.blazingtools.com

I know you've offered autoreplace/macro programs before (including Typing Assistant 3.1 by Sumit Software a few months ago), but this one is different and much better. In the last couple of months I've tried a lot of such programs, free and trial versions, and I've finally decided this is the one I want. I'm going to register it; price is only $10. It does what I need better than some of the pricier programs (up to $40) that I've tried. BTW I don't know if the developers would be interested in offering this program here; they also have others that some people might be interested in.

Here are some of the things Smart Type Assistant 1.6 does:
    - Autoreplace text, using either a keyword, a hotkey, or a menu of choices
    - Autocorrect text (works in most applications--not just word processors)
    - Smart Diary - "Logs and saves the texts you type to prevent losing of data when system crashes" [from their Help file]. I found it really useful recently when I forgot to save an online chat with a shopping support person that I might need later on if they renege on the information I was given. Smart Diary displays a calendar that you can use to find the text you saved that day.
    - Clipboard history
    - Change case of selected text
    - etc. etc.

Suggestions for future giveaways: More desktop productivity programs such as: Card Making Programs (Greeting Cards, Business Cards, etc.); Label Making Programs (CD, DVD, even Cassette, VHS, etc.); Newsletter & Pamphlet Programs for desktop publishing; Genealogy Programs (especially those that include access to records); Drawing, Paint, and Animation Programs (such as the recent PD Particles).

As a retiree, I'm limited in funds and make my cards, labels, images, etc. at home for personal use and also gratis for church and a few nonprofit social groups I belong to (newsletter, pamphlets, etc.).

thankyou for all the work you have done. Many giveaways have been brilliant.

my suggestion is for you to release "Any Video Converter Proffesional Edition".

Im using the regualr edition that as far as i know can really convert any video format. I even converted a matroska file into an avi with it once. It can also convert to DVD format, NTSC and PAL.

The Pro edition can convert to more formats and would love to see this as a giveaway.

Search for Orbit download manager. Ive downloaded streaming videos from many websites and it does it perfectly. The download manager is really handy when downloading several files at once.

HI all and thanks to GAOTD! Good Morning (here is TX) I am new here.
I have been a day late and a dollar short for some of the software offered that I really could have used... Thanks to Hurricane Ike - we had no power for 13 days and I missed some then. Is there anyway to get copies of the ones that I missed without having to pay? No extra funds here being a newly single mom and a damaged house. (sorry, not looking for pity).

anyhow, I looked for the hidden objects games and couldn't find them. Also went to download the Caribbean Mahjong (watched the video) and it told me the coupon code is not good so it was going to charge me $19.95. In the meantime, my 4 yr old seen it and was REALLY wanting to play it. he is really good at mahjong!

NOW for my suggestion...(sorry for getting off topic). I would love to see something like 3D room design. Something that is easy to navigate that would help me add in my room measurements to duplicate my house but would let me play with color and moving my furniture. Since I have to relevel my house and get a new roof, new floors, new paint and new sofa I would love to see what it would look like before hand. Similiar to what they do on HGTV. I think I've seen one by encore. I also have tons of furniture and want to see how it would look without having to move it. Maybe something with landscaping too.

Sorry this got long and THANKS for all you do GAOTD and to all of you others that always help someone out.

    Janie from TX

Here's something cute which GAOTD shouldn't have a problem getting, as it's already on freedownloadscenter.com

    http://www.luxand.com/prophecymaster/

It ages your picture, the way the police do for children who've been missing a long time (although in the example given, a long time looks to be about 4 years :-) )

This shouldn't be too hard to get for you guys, as they have brought the price down already and its not something ive ever heard about (I think)

    http://www.findsounds.com/palette.html
Findsounds.com offers quite a wide array of sound files which are downloadable, but it would be so much easier to have the program they offer, Findsounds Palette, which also searches for the sound files from the net but can also edit them and paste them together.

It must have all...Treesize Pro http://www.jam-software.com/treesize/index.shtml
TreeSize Professional is a powerful and flexible harddisk space manager for Windows 200X / XP / Vista (32 and 64 Bit). Find out which folders are the largest on your drives and recover megabytes on your disks. TreeSize Professional shows you the size, allocated and wasted space, the number of files, 3D charts, the last access date, the file owner and permissions, the NTFS compression rate and much more information of several folders or drives you choose. It also lets you search drives, entire servers or the entire network for old, big, temporary and duplicate files

How about some internet tools. I'd be interested in some tracking tools to see when and how long my kids visit their game sites. I'd also like to see something that would allow me to set limits such as time spent on a certain site in a 24 hour period (if anything like that exists). A good filter would be nice too. They're getting to the age where they could be heavily influenced by some of the "junk" that could pop up unexpectedly.

You're doing a great job, gang! Thanks for all these goodies.

I don't know if such a thing exists, but I'd like to find a converter or downloader for PHP presentations on websites (kind of like Orbit and other converters). I enjoy each day's selections, even if I don't always have a need for them or download. Your efforts are appreciated.
