I think you shuld make a sort of account, so that users of Giveaway of the Day could logg in and see what they have downloaded, install`d.
Also you could make a list/calender of Giveaways to come, so users can mark the programs that looks interesting to them, and get an e-mail the day that the programe is the Giveaway of the Day.
You cuold also make a more "private" aim at youre users like for ex.
I use my pc for playing games, listen to music, watch movies and that sort of thing. i could mark a box of my interest in program categories like this:
[*] msn
[ ] picture/video edeting
[*] music
[*] games(also game categories)
kinda like that.
Also i use both XP and Vista, so you cold have boxes like this:
[ ] Win 2000/older
[*] XP
[*] Vista
[ ] mac
so the users have more controle of programs that fit their OS and user style.
This probably gonna take a lot of storage space, and i dont now how youre budget is so i have a idea for that to:P
you could make like gold, silver, bronce/elite, pro, normal acconts and a Gold/Elite could cost for ex. 15$, Silver/Pro cost 10$ and Bronce/Normal is free.
this is probably not going to be very popular so that is up to you to deside.
This is a amasing website! but i have an inpresion that this is not a well known website and that is awfull, i dont know if you are alowed to mercendise but make the site more like i have succested and screem for attension! this is a website that you could get VERY rich of if the law alowes you to. so pleas try to succsede. ;)
I probably have more ideas, but rigth now im emty. So i hope that you take this seriusly and do something about it.
