How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings

    I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

  2. Use file and transfer wizard.

    Works for me.

    Only thing you will find it won't save your passwords and you have to redownload folders when prompted.

    Found you a link as I don't have time to write it myself, it's about 10 inches down the page.

    GAOTD offered "ABF Outlook Express Backup" back in December 23, 2006. It is really great! Not only does it backup, but syncs with other computers too.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I also found Outlook Express Backup Genie http://www.amicutilities.com/outlook-express-backup which does the job right and fast. I will try them out more and then buy one!
