  1. since some of the giveaways given on ggotd requires winrar it should be on gotd because i have almost run out of the evaluation so please hoping for some good replys

  5. If you can't afford it, or have no need to create RAR archives - 7Zip is a free alternative. WinRAR is the only program that can create RAR archives. Lots of other programs can Un-RAR (extract) archives though.

  8. I agree with Lee. I use WinRAR Crystal and its well worth the money. But as BuBBy stated, other programs will unpack rar files and many more. WinRAR also unpacks all the others to.

    Whats best about it is, you don't have to unarchive (unzip) the file to run any program that is contained in it. And its highly configureable.
