It installed correctly and ran straight after installation. When it ran it claimed
to be unable to deal with my hard disk model. At that point I pretty much gave up
    (first impressions 'n' all).
While preparing to post to the forum about what a load of ?*&% it was, I ran it again.
This time it did recognise my drive (ST9120821A, 120GB 2.5") and reported correctly.
I wonder how many other people will have it fail at startup and therefore never run
it again - even if it would eventually work?

Looks like it needs a little work to have it start correctly after an install.

I have installed and uninstalled three times. Each time the program shows it couldn't find a hard drive. There is no way to try to locate the hard drive within the program and the help section (both within the program and online) had no mention of what to do in this situation. Useless.
