Blue Squad - and "Health Frame Explorer"

    Hello to everyone! ;)

I'm begging you now - pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease feature the software house Blue Squad on GotD!

They're in the UK - and all prices are quoted in pounds. (Why doesn't my brand new Windows ergonomic keyboard have a pound sign?!?!?!?!) The only email I could find for them was their support address which I suppose can give you a foot in the door.

I received a licensed, full version of a wonderful application from them (for free!) last week and I've been using it daily ever since. It's called Health Frame Explorer and I am NOT over rating it when I say that it's superb!

After necessary initial input, the software keeps track of your family's medical conditions and is able to cross-reference them with each other, together with everyone's details and everyone's medications. As an example; I have to take 25 pills a day from a few different specialists - so this kind of program is a G-d send for me!

You can also personalize the UI with various skins - print out reports in various ways, together with any related (self-created) health journals - and it's all a breeze! It's in version 2 at the moment and they plan to extend its capability to include all your pharmaceutical information in the next one.

I'm just SO BLOWN AWAY by this software! If we'd been offered this kind of software, with NO bugs at all and a support forum to boot - we wouldn't have had any complaints over in the zoo! ;)

They have a demo version available for download, but I'm not sure if it's like a 'lite' version or not.

The developers of this product are Records for Living, Inc., and I can't wait for version 3 to come out!

Perhaps some kind of deal can be struck between GotD, Blue Squad and any developers they feature. I really think it's worth the time it would take for investigation, especially if they can offer this kind of software and quality from indie developers - and hopefully they'll be interested!

P.S. If you sign up for Blue Squad's newsletter, you'll also be eligible to receive a few FREE fully licensed software offers yourself!

Yes, they have a freebie every now and then on bluesquad. I think every month they offer you something new, sometimes a free program. I am glad you like it, I know I posted it here on the forum. I'm glad I posted it here and it sounds like you really like it. I don't know if you got it from my link or not, but here is bluesquad usa.

    Swan,

I agree with you that it would be good if they could be brought on board with GOTD.

BlueSquad are part of Avanquest; the French arm of Avanquest recently ran the special offers for 10 days, including some giveaways, for which someone kindly posted a link on this site. In December last year, Avanquest ran a 21-day series of special offers and giveaways in the UK via the VNU computer magazines, and there was some good stuff in there, some of it with the BlueSquad label.

So, even if the GOTD team can't strike a deal with them, it is still worth keeping an eye out for them as special offers may crop up anywhere, anytime.
