I'd run the program and it would pop up saying "Activation module failed to connect to givawayoftheday.com. Software activation is not possible at the moment. Please try again later or check your firewall settings."
I can't check the firewall settings, because I don't have one, nor a router. I don't have any problems with any other applications accessing the internet, so, any ideas? :(

Is this the first time that you have downloaded from this site? If so, there is something blocking the access. What kind of antivirus software do you use?

AVG antivirus.
I've tried to download things several times and all of the activations don't work for me. :'(

What operating system do you use?
If you have windows xp you can turn off the built in firewall.
Then turn it back on after.
Get yourself a free firewall as windows xp built in is basic.

or OutPost Firewall Pro is also free here http://web.avanquest.com/special_offers/Summer_2007/AQFR/index.cfm

I'm not on SP2, so no windows firewall, but I installed ZoneAlarm today, and that satisfies me. :3
And since I've installed ZoneAlarm, It has started working. Shame it's too late for immortal defense. :(

Do you have windows xp?
If so it does contain windows firewall if sp1a or sp2.
If you're not on sp2 you should update now.

SP2 kills my GFX card, and yes, I'm on XP and the "firewall" is disabled.

You have a completely different graphics card, and I imagine you're using PCI-e anyway.

If you haven't already, I'd recommend you install updated Forceware drivers from nVidia which are compatible with XP Service Pack 2
ForceWare Release 90 - Version: 93.71

Decompress the file posted.
right click my comp, click hardware, click device manager, click display adapter, right click the name of your graphics card, click on update driver, check 'not at this time', click next, check 'install fro a specific location', next, check 'Don't check. I will choose the driver to install', next, click 'have disk' then browse, then open the location where the decompressed file is, open the folder and click on the file in the folder named 'nv4_disp', then open and install the file.
Try make sure AV is turned off.
When done reboot, when you have rebooted resize your resoulution.
